Ronaldo to spend NYE with male 'cuddle buddy'

Cristiano Ronaldo will reportedly spend New Year's Eve with a male friend who it has been alleged he is in a gay relationship with.

The bizarre story emerged after reports from Spanish media outlets claimed that Ronaldo was making 'four trips a week' to Morocco to see his kickboxer friend Badr Hari in between training commitments with Real Madrid.

Arabic newspaper Ajbar Al Yaum has claimed that Ronaldo has reserved a luxury suite at The Pearl Marrakech to celebrate bringing in the new year with Hari and his troubled Madrid teammate Karim Benzema.

The Portuguese forward is expected to fly to Morocco on his private jet after Madrid's La Liga encounter with Real Sociedad on Wednesday afternoon, returning to Spain in time for the game with Gary Neville's Valencia on Sunday night.

Ronaldo split from long-term girlfriend Irina Shayk earlier this year.
