Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo tested himself in a different sport on Monday when he joined Formula 1 driver Jenson Button on a race track in Madrid.
The Portugal captain was taken for a spin in a McLaren supercar by Button after he attempted to hit the vehicle with footballs as the F1 driver stormed around the track.
Ronaldo described his experience as "fantastic", but admitted that he struggled to take any tips on board from Button due to the speed of the car.
"He tried to teach me some stuff, but he was going so fast I didn't take a lot of attention because I was in the pressure to hold everything so strong," The Telegraph quotes Ronaldo as saying. "So unbelievable. Fantastic experience."
The 29-year-old, who won the Ballon d'Or in January, scooped UEFA's best player in Europe award last week.
