Real Madrid star Karim Benzema parties with Rihanna in New York City

Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema appears to have a friendship with global superstar Rihanna after the pair were spotted partying in New York City.

The Frenchman has a break before pre-season begins after Real ended the campaign last month without any major silverware.

Photos have emerged of Benzema enjoying some of that time off with Barbados-born Rihanna and friends in the Big Apple.

According to 101greatgoals.com, the duo were spotted partying at The Griffin in the meatpacking district of the city and were later photographed grabbing some food at 5am.

Benzema, who has been linked with a summer move to Arsenal, was left out of France's squad for games against Belgium and Albania.
