Real Madrid star Gareth Bale "can't wait" to wear new Adidas boots

Real Madrid star Gareth Bale has admitted that he "can't wait" to debut his new Adidas boots in the Champions League this week.

The adizero F50 crazylight footwear are the lightest commercial boots ever to be produced, and Bale has already been testing them out.

"I've tried them out already in training and they feel great," the Daily Mail quotes Bale as saying. "Lightweight boots definitely give me an advantage over the competition and I feel faster and more agile the lighter the boots become.

"Hopefully I can score a few goals in them over the next few weeks. I can't wait to wear them on field."

Bale will don the new boots during the Champions League second leg against Schalke 04 on Tuesday following Madrid's 6-1 victory in the first leg of the last-16 clash.
