Mike Tyson: 'I took cocaine while filming 'The Hangover''

Former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson has revealed that he was high on cocaine while filming his cameo appearance in Hollywood blockbuster The Hangover.

The 46-year-old played himself in the movie, which was released in 2010, and the ex-boxer has expressed his gratitude to the producers for allowing him back to film a cameo for The Hangover 2.

"I was a mess," Tyson told Yahoo! Sports. "I was overweight. I was a pig, high on cocaine. They had to know I was messed up. I couldn't talk. I had the cocaine talk.

"So those guys are just beautiful people. They had my back, and I appreciate that and stuff, then they asked me to come back [in The Hangover 2]."

Tyson was convicted in 2007 for being found in possession of cocaine.
