Tom Daley's 'Splash' expected to get axed after first series

New diving reality show fronted by Olympic bronze medallist Tom Daley Splash! has been tipped to get axed after the first series.

The ITV reality show is 1/2 by bookmakers William Hill to be dropped, while odds of 33/1 have been given for the show to be cancelled midway through the series.

"The Twittersphere was ablaze with inflammatory comments about Splash on Saturday night and the show will have to improve in order to pull in more viewers," said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly. "As things stand, it looks like Splash could be a flash in the pan."

The show, which involves celebrities competing against each other in a number of diving challenges, made its TV debut on Saturday.
