Kelly Sotherton's theft case to be shown on BBC's 'Crimewatch'

An episode of the BBC's Crimewatch will feature the theft of Kelly Sotherton's Commonwealth gold medal.

The former heptathlete and 400m runner revealed on Twitter last month that her prized possession had been stolen from her home in Sutton Coldfield.

According to BBC News, the burglary, which took place while Sotherton and her family were asleep, will be mentioned during the Crimewatch episode on March 2.

Nine AAA British medals and six Island Games medals were among the items swiped from the athlete's home.
