Sky News sports presenter Jacquie Beltrao has revealed that she was diagnosed with breast cancer on Christmas Eve.
The 48-year-old, who provides sports updates on the channel's morning Sunrise show, announced the news on Twitter over the New Year.
She later thanked her followers for their support, adding that the messages had made her feel emotional.
Prior to her broadcasting career, Beltrao represented Great Britain in rhythmic gymnastics at the 1984 Olympics.
