Michael Schumacher sand sculpture created in tribute to F1 legend

Indian artist Sudarsan Pattnaik has created a sand sculpture of Michael Schumacher in tribute to the injured F1 legend.

The sculptor crafted the seven-time Formula 1 champion's likeness on a beach, along with a message of support wishing him a speedy recovery, The Huffington Post reports.

Schumacher is in a critical but stable condition in a French hospital following a skiing accident on Sunday.

The 44-year-old has undergone two brain operations and has been placed in a medically-induced coma since sustaining the injury, spending four nights in intensive care.
