Victoria Pendleton marries fiance Scott Gardner in Cheshire

Former professional cyclist Victoria Pendleton has married her fiance Scott Gardner in a ceremony in Cheshire.

The 32-year-old, who has been planning the wedding since the end of the London Olympic Games last year, tied the knot with her partner at Cheshire country manor house in Colshaw Hall.

"Seeing Scott at the top of the aisle is an image I'll keep in my mind forever," Pendleton told Hello! magazine.

"I'm very lucky to have met him, If I hadn't have done sport, our paths would never have crossed."

A number of fellow Team GB athletes, including swimmer Keri-Anne Payne, attended the ceremony.
