Nike to stop making products for Livestrong Foundation

Nike ends Livestrong partnership

Nike has announced that it will cease to produce sportswear for the Livestrong Foundation, the cancer charity founded by disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong.

Armstrong, 41, created the foundation after he was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 1997.

He has since been exposed as a serial doper and was stripped of seven Tour de France titles.

Nike added that its 'Holiday 2013' line of Livestrong products would be its last.

The sportswear company ended its personal sponsorship of Armstrong in October.
