Diego Maradona fathers fourth child

Argentina legend Diego Maradona has become a father for the fourth time at the age of 52.

The World Cup winners' ex-girlfriend Veronica Ojeda gave birth to a son named Diego Fernando Maradona late on Wednesday night at a hospital in Buenos Aires.

Maradona and Ojeda split up "several months ago", according to the Latin American Herald Tribune.

The former Barcelona and Napoli striker already has two daughters with his first wife and a 27-year-old son whom he refuses to acknowledge from another relationship.
