Amir Khan expecting first child with wife Faryal

British boxer Amir Khan has announced that his wife Faryal is pregnant with the couple's first child.

The pair have announced the news just five months after they got married in two separate lavish ceremonies in New York and Khan's hometown of Bolton.

"It's still early days but we're both very excited and can't wait to be parents," Khan told The Sun. "Our families are delighted and we're blessed to have their support and guidance."

The couple got engaged in January last year.
