Wrestler Hulk Hogan: 'I contemplated suicide after racial slurs came to light'

Hogan contemplated suicide over racial slurs

American wrestler Hulk Hogan has admitted that he considered taking his own life when his racial slurs came to light.

The 62-year-old was recently dropped by WWE after a video emerged of him using racist language in reference to his daughter's ex-lover in 2006.

During an interview on Good Morning America, Hogan said: "I was to the point where I wanted to kill myself, you know? I was completely broken and destroyed and said, 'what's the easiest way out of this?' I mean, I was lost."

Hogan went on to insist that he is not racist, but was "wrong" to use the remarks that he did.
