Frankie, Wayne Bridge welcome second son

The wife of former England international Wayne Bridge has announced that she has given birth to the couple's second child.

Popstar Frankie Bridge, who married the now-retired defender last July, revealed that Carter Bridge was born on Saturday morning.

Shortly after the arrival, she posted on Twitter: "Our gorgeous baby boy Carter Bridge was born this morning. He is absolutely perfect - Parker is so excited to be a big brother."

The couple's first son, Parker, was born in October 2013, while Bridge also has an eight-year-old son from his relationship with French model Vanessa Perroncel.
