Andrew Flintoff to tour UK in mobile chip shop for Sky 1 documentary

Cricketer Andrew Flintoff will tour the UK in a mobile fish and chip shop for a new Sky 1 documentary.

Lancashire cricketer Andrew Flintoff will journey around Britain and Ireland in a mobile fish and chip shop as part of a Sky 1 documentary.

The former England all-rounder will be joined with Rob Penn, who teamed up with Flintoff for a trek through the Amazon earlier this year, as they visit various parts of the country while running their own chippy.

The show, which is called Flintoff: Lord of the Fries, will begin at a chip shop close to the housing estate where the cricketer grew up.

The 36-year-old said: "Fish and chips have always been one of my biggest vices believe it or not so I'm glad that Sky 1 have given me the chance to go on my very own fish 'n' chip adventure.

"Rob and I had a once in a lifetime experience cycling through the Amazon so I'm hoping this chip shop van journey will be just as much fun but maybe a little less sore!"

Flintoff announced his decision to come out of retirement in May.
