Olympic champion Jessica Ennis reveals fashion label aspirations

Ennis: 'I want a fashion line'

Olympic champion Jessica Ennis has revealed that she would "love" to launch her own fashion range.

The 26-year-old, who won gold at the heptathlon event at London 2012, has claimed that she has been inspired after attending numerous runway shows following her success in the summer.

"I'd love to start my own fashion label," Ennis told City AM. "Whether it's collaborating with [a sportswear brand] or doing the more fashiony side of things."

Meanwhile, Ennis has been named as one of the 12 nominees for the BBC's Sports Personality of the Year award.
