Courier smashes LPGA trophy

Swedish golfer Anna Nordqvist has revealed that the trophy she won at the LPGA Classic in New Jersey last month was broken by the couriers who delivered it to her home.

The 28-year-old won her fifth title at the event in Galloway, and shipped the large glass cup home with FedEx.

Nordqvist posted pictures of the damage on Twitter:

She added: "I told my team I was going to share my win with them, now them can all have of piece of the trophy."

The tournament has ordered a new trophy for Nordqvist.
