David Beckham targeted by producers for 'Superstars' series?

David Beckham is reportedly being eyed by BBC producers to star in the new series of Superstars.

The former England international, who left Los Angeles Galaxy last month, is thought to have been lined up for the return of the TV classic, which is due to air in the spring/summer.

It is believed that producers are keen to swoop for the 36-year-old as he is currently not tied down to a club, according to the Daily Mail.

Meanwhile, reports have claimed that British tennis number one Andy Murray has already agreed to appear in the series.
