Andy Murray agrees to appear in new 'Superstars' series

US Open champion Andy Murray has reportedly agreed to appear on the new series of Superstars.

The BBC are believed to be planning to bring back the show, which features sports men and women going up against each other in a range of challenges alien to their respective sports.

It is understood that the Scotsman has signed up to compete on the series, which is due to broadcast in the spring/summer, according to The Sun.

Producers have opted to remake the show after 6.5m people watched the one-off edition over Christmas featuring the London 2012 Olympians.
