David Beckham tells Lamar Odom to "stay strong"

David Beckham has told hospitalised former LA Lakers basketball player Lamar Odom to "stay strong".

Odom is currently in a critical condition in hospital after being found unconscious in a Las Vegas brothel.

Reports have suggested that Odom may have fallen unconscious after taking drugs during a four-day stint at the brothel.

Beckham has posted a message on Instagram dedicated to Odom telling him: "Stay strong brother".

Beckham spent five years in LA with Los Angeles Galaxy from 2007 to 2012.
