Beckham 'confident of stadium bid'

David Beckham's camp are reportedly confident that they can change the negative mood surrounding the sportsman's bid to build a football stadium in Miami.

Numerous businesses have opposed the retired footballer's plans of constructing a ground in PortMiami for his newly-formed MLS franchise.

According to the Daily Mail, Beckham's camp believe that opinion will swing in their favour once they outline their plans in more detail.

Reports have claimed that the 39-year-old will meet political, community and youth football groups in the coming weeks in a bid to encourage them to support his stadium bid.
