Lance Armstrong 'buys £2.8m mansion in Texas'

Armstrong 'spends millions on Texas mansion'

Disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong has reportedly spent £2.8m on a hill-top mansion in Texas.

The 41-year-old is thought to have been looking for a fresh start after being stripped of his seven Tour de France titles and given a lifetime ban from cycling due to extensive evidence of doping.

Following reports that he had sold off his estate in Austin, Armstrong has spent over two million on a new mansion in the exclusive Rob Roy neighbourhood, according to The American-Statesman.

Meanwhile, a recent video emerged online showing the former cyclist playing drums for a local band at the Austin Reggae Festival.
