Hatem Ben Arfa 'accused of committing four driving offences'

Newcastle United midfielder Hatem Ben Arfa has reportedly been accused of committing four driving offences.

The 26-year-old, who appeared at Newcastle Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, is believed to have pleaded not guilty to having no insurance when he was caught on September 11.

It is understood that the France international is alleged to have also been clocked speeding at 110mph on a 70mph road outside of Newcastle, according to The Sun.

Ben Arfa has not entered a plea for the three remaining charges.
