Rihanna blasts NBA star Matt Barnes over dating claims

Rihanna has described NBA player Matt Barnes as a "liar" and accused him of "defamation of character" after he suggested that he was dating the Barbadian singer.

The Memphis Grizzlies forward told TMZ that he has "passed the crush stage" with the 27-year-old Billboard and Grammy-award winner.

However, the Umbrella singer quickly took to Instagram to dismiss his claims in a series of hashtags, writing: "#bishwhere #thedevilisaliar #shesnotthatintoyou #shesnotintoyouatall #shesneverevenmetyou #thisactuallyhurtmyfeelings #defamationofcharacter."

Rihanna has also been romantically linked with Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton recently after being pictured partying with the Briton in Barbados.
