Report: Manchester United star Marcus Rashford a Scrabble master

Manchester United youngster Marcus Rashford receives "loads of stick" from his teammates due to his love for the game Scrabble, according to a report.

Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford reportedly receives "loads of stick" from his teammates due to his passion for Scrabble.

The Sun quotes a source claiming that the 18-year-old, who scored twice on his debut against FC Midtjylland in the Europa League on Thursday night, is also "very down-to-earth" and keen on avoiding the limelight.

"Marcus is a very down-to-earth. He avoids all the trappings of football fame and doesn't even have a Twitter account," the source revealed.

"He is a model professional – looks after his body well and his mind. He gets loads of stick because he likes playing Scrabble and always brings the game with him on trips to away matches.

"Lots of the lads give him stick because of it but by the end of the journey he's usually collared one or two to play with him."

Rashford, who is believed to be in talks with Man United over a new and improved contract, is expected to make his Premier League debut against Arsenal this weekend.
