Manchester United stars celebrate at team Christmas party

Manchester United's players were out in force on Wednesday night for their annual Christmas party, the first under new manager Louis van Gaal.

The Dutchman joined his team and their partners at The Place in Manchester for an evening of live music and karaoke.

After the festive bash, Jonny Evans was photographed leaving the venue with a wine spillage on his shirt, while Ryan Giggs and his wife Stacey appeared to be a tad worse for wear after she was snapped resting her head on her husband's lap in the car ride home.

The players were able to relax after securing four victories on the bounce in the Premier League following a poor start to the campaign under Van Gaal.
