NBC to agree deal to broadcast Paralympics at Sochi 2014, Rio 2016?

American broadcasters NBC are reportedly close to agreeing a deal to air coverage of the Paralympics at Sochi 2014 and Rio 2016.

The network were criticised during the London 2012 Games for their coverage, which included six highlights programmes for the Paralympics.

It is understood that NBC will air 60 hours of action from the Games in Rio in three years' time, according to the Daily Mail.

The broadcasters were also criticised for deciding to tape-delay a number of the major moments during the London Games.
