Tom Daley to join One Direction?

Olympic diver Tom Daley has revealed that he is keen to star in a music video with boyband One Direction.

However, the 18-year-old, who won a bronze medal at the 2012 Games, claimed that he would need singing and dancing lessons from Cheryl Cole.

"I've met them all and I'm in contact with most of them. They're all really nice guys. Louis [Tomlinson] came and watched the [London 2012 Olympics 10m diving] final. Liam [Payne] wanted to but couldn't get tickets," he told heat.

"If they ever need me for a music video, I'll go in the background and do a bit of clicking. I'm not a singer though. Cheryl [Cole] will need to teach me to sing and dance."

Daley started his diving career at the age of seven.
