Liverpool youngsters give Easter eggs to sick kids during hospital visit

Liverpool youth celebrate Easter with ill kids

Liverpool's academy players started their Easter celebrations early by visiting ill children at the Alder Hey Hospital.

The 11-strong group arrived at the hospital with chocolate Easter eggs for the young patients and their families.

"Visiting these kids has been great," the Daily Mail quotes 20-year-old Conor Coady as saying. "I have a little brother so I know how much it means to these kids to get a special visit, especially when they aren't feeling their best."

Meanwhile, the Liverpool senior team are preparing to go up against Aston Villa in the Premier League this Sunday.
