The Dutch home of Galatasaray midfielder Wesley Sneijder is reportedly raided by police.

The home of Galatasaray midfielder Wesley Sneijder was reportedly raided by police last week.

Dutch media are speculating that the authorities were searching for drugs in the property, which is owned by Sneijder and his wife Yolanthe.

Reports have claimed that police didn't find anything incriminating during their search of the building in Vleuterweide, but the public prosecutor would not comment on the reasons behind the raid.

According to Dutch television show Shownieuws, Sniejder and his other half are considering taking legal action against the police.

The search is said to have been carried out last Friday night.
