Young football fan sexually assaulted at Forest Green Rovers match

A 10-year-old football supporter was sexually assaulted during a recent match at the home of Forest Green Rovers.

Police have said that the assault took place as the boy was using the toilet at The New Lawn ground in Nailsworth.

He was approached and touched inappropriately by a man, who has been described as white, aged between 50 and 60 and wearing a black waist-length jacket.

Rovers have vowed to help the authorities in any way that they can to ensure that the offender is caught.
