Everton's Tony Hibbert features in 'Angling Times' after catching carp

Everton defender Tony Hibbert has revealed his love for fishing by featuring in this week's Angling Times.

The 32-year-old, who bought his own carp fishery last year, featured in the magazine after catching a 42lb carp during one of his fishing sessions.

When asked if he would prefer to score a goal at Everton's Gwladys Street end or catch a 60lb carp, Hibbert said: "It's got to be a goal at the Gwladys Street end, it's got to be."

Hibbert has never netted a goal for the Toffees in over 250 appearances.
