FA donate £40k to Gascoigne?

The Football Association have reportedly given £40,000 towards the treatment of England legend Paul Gascoigne.

The 45-year-old is spending time at a rehab facility in the US in order to help battle alcoholism following a public appearance at an event in Northampton.

According to The Sun, the English football governing body has paid the huge sum via England's official charity.

Meanwhile, Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is thought to have offered £5,000 to the struggling ex-professional.
