Beckham photobombs 'Pride of Britain' hero

Former England football captain David Beckham was in a playful mood after The Mirror's Pride of Britain awards on Monday night as he photobombed paramedic Dr Ben Clark backstage.

The ex-Manchester United star attended the ceremony, which honoured the UK's unsung heroes by highlighting their bravery.

After the event, the 40-year-old greeted the winners backstage in London and while a picture was being taken of Midlands Air Ambulance paramedic Dr Clark, the ex-footballer decided to pull a face in the background.

Dr Clark and his team collected the Emergency Services Award for their tireless work to rescue the people trapped on Alton Towers' The Smiler ride after it crashed into a test carriage in June.
