Anthony Fowler 'refuses to speak to The Sun newspaper'

Team England boxer Anthony Fowler has revealed how he refuses to speak to newspaper The Sun following false allegations made by the tabloid in the aftermath of the Hillsborough disaster 25 years ago.

The 23-year-old Liverpool supporter, who was a part of the British Lionhearts 2012-13 team, is to represent England in the Commonwealth Games later this week.

Fowler took to Twitter following an open media session in Glasgow, saying: "Media day done, unfortunately there was someone from The Sun there, even though I refused to speak to them I cant stop them using my quotes."

Ninety-six Liverpool supporters lost their lives in the 1989 disaster.
