Dagenham striker given drink-driving ban

Dagenham & Redbridge striker Brian Woodall has been given a 20-month driving ban after pleading guilty to drink-driving.

The 25-year-old has also been ordered to pay a £790 fine on top of £164 in court costs.

Woodall was found to be twice over the legal limit when he was arrested by police in Dagenham on October 27.

The forward has since been loaned out to Dover Athletic, although his parent club have claimed that the move is unrelated to the player's punishment.
