LeBron James surprises cancer sufferer with hug at Cleveland Cavaliers game

Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James personally handed over a jersey to a young female cancer sufferer during the Wine and Gold Scrimmage on Wednesday evening.

Sixteen-year-old Jackie Custer attended the game knowing that she could be chosen to receive a jersey ahead of a number of other fans.

However, the teen was surprised to be handed the shirt and receive a hug from James, who returned to the Cavaliers earlier this year after spending four years with Miami Heat.

After the event, Custer, who is suffering from leukaemia, wrote on Twitter: "Literally shaking right now @KingJames thank you so much".
