Chile youngsters get heads shaved during initiation

Three Chile youngsters have chunks of their hair cut out by the national football team as an initiation process.

Three young Chile footballers were forced to go through an initiation as they set about trying to break into the national first team.

Uncapped Sebastian Vegas, Roberto Riveros and Carlos Lobos are said to have been invited to travel with the squad to London ahead of this Friday's international friendly against England.

Instead of being asked to sing a song as an initiation, each player had chunks of their hair cut out by their teammates.

Cardiff City's Gary Medel posted a photo of the results on Twitter, with the message: "Welcome to La Roja little pigeons!!! ;)".
