Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho 'to undergo elbow surgery'

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho will reportedly undergo surgery on a fractured elbow this morning in Paris.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho will reportedly have surgery on his elbow.

The Portuguese coach is believed to be heading to hospital after overseeing his side secure a 3-1 victory over Manchester United yesterday.

After closing the gap at the top of the Premier League table to two points, it has emerged that Mourinho will have an operation on a fractured elbow this morning, according to Sky Sports News.

Reports have claimed that the surgery, which will be carried out in Paris, will focus on a bone that has come loose from an injury he previously suffered.

Mourinho was honoured at a Football Writers' Association Gala Tribute last night.
