Chelsea captain John Terry in Oscars selfie spoof

The 86th Academy Awards took centre stage last night, but somehow Chelsea captain John Terry managed to become part of it.

Away from the awards themselves, host Ellen DeGeneres posted the most retweeted photograph ever on Twitter when a number of stars including Bradley Cooper, Julia Roberts and Brad Pitt posed for a selfie.

Following last night's ceremony, images have appeared across social media of the Oscars selfie, but with Terry alongside the actors holding the Champions League trophy while wearing his Chelsea kit.
