Eva Carneiro gets married, but no Chelsea players invited

Former Chelsea doctor Eva Carneiro has put her professional disputes to one side by getting married on Wednesday.

Carneiro tied the knot with polar explorer Jason De Carteret at St Patrick's Catholic Church in Soho last night after two years of dating.

No Chelsea players were in attendance, but ex-Blues goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer was among the guests.

Jose Mourinho will not have expected an invitation after Gibraltar-born Carneiro took legal action against the Portuguese following her dismissal in August.

She and head physio Jon Fearn were dropped from their duties earlier in the season when the duo treated Eden Hazard during a clash with Swansea City, meaning that the champions were briefly down to nine men.

She also filed a constructive dismissal suit against Chelsea.
