Neil Lennon closes Twitter account

Celtic manager Neil Lennon has seemingly closed his Twitter account.

The Northern Irishman had been a regular user of the social networking site, but his profile has disappeared after three years of using the site.

The 42-year-old has not offered an explanation for his departure, but has been involved in a number of disputes with fans and players in recent months.

Celtic are next in action on Boxing Day when they travel to St Johnstone.
