Manu Tuilagi sorry for prank on Prime Minister

Tuilagi sorry for prank on PM

England centre Manu Tuilagi has issued an apology after playing a prank on British Prime Minister David Cameron when having their photo taken on Monday.

The 22-year-old was part of the British and Irish Lions squad that was present at Downing Street in order to honour their series win in Australia earlier this summer.

During a picture, Tuilagi made a 'bunny' gesture with two fingers behind the head of Cameron, which the Leicester Tigers man has since said sorry for.

"Apologies for messing around on Lions photo. No offence intended," Tuilagi Tweeted later on Monday.

"Great Day at Downing Street. Thanks to Prime Minister for hosting us."

The Lions won their first tour in 16 years in July with a 2-1 series triumph over the Wallabies.
