An incident which saw Bournemouth defender Baily Cargill seemingly lose his wig during last night's defeat against Liverpool goes viral overnight.

Bournemouth defender Baily Cargill appeared to lose his wig during his side's League Cup quarter-final meeting with Liverpool last night.

The 19-year-old was seen powering forward in the 3-1 defeat, making a simple pass to a teammate before the incident took place.

The video soon spread across various social media platforms, although it later emerged that the youngster was in fact sporting a bandage on his head following an earlier incident.

Cargill has yet to make a single league start for Bournemouth so far this season.
