Barcelona's Neymar wants to "collaborate" with boyband One Direction

Barcelona star Neymar has admitted that he wants to "collaborate" with British boyband One Direction in the future.

The Brazilian player has been carving out a celebrity status since moving to Camp Nou last summer, and was recently pictured with Niall Horan from the band.

During an interview with CNN, Neymar was asked about the five-piece band, who found fame on talent show The X Factor, and he responded by saying: "I like One Direction, they're an excellent band. I'd like to collaborate with them without a doubt."

On the pitch, Barcelona are currently four points behind La Liga leaders Atletico Madrid in the table.
