Floyd Mayweather Jr wins almost £2m on NFL bets

Floyd Mayweather Jr has scooped almost £2m by betting on a number of NFL games in recent weeks.

The 37-year-old has boasted about his latest winnings by posting images of the betting slips on his social media accounts.

The pound-for-pound fighter collected around £966,000 after betting £495,000 on the Arizona Cardinals beating the Oakland Raiders, which they did so by 24-13 on Monday.

The 37-year-old, who is the richest sportsman on the planet, picked up £65m from his fights against Saul Alvarez and Marcos Maidana.
