Anderlecht's Steven Defour to wear shin pads featuring himself and girlfriend

Steven Defour reportedly plans to wear custom-made shin pads that feature the faces of himself and his girlfriend in tonight's Champions League match against Arsenal.

Anderlecht's Steven Defour will wear shin pads that feature an image of himself and his girlfriend in tonight's Champions League tie against Arsenal.

The 26-year-old has had a pair of shin pads custom made to show pictures of the couple's faces, as well as the letters 'K' and 'Q', which represent King and Queen.

The shin protectors are also covered in Belgium's colours to highlight his passion for the national team.

Journalist Kristof Terreur posted an image of the shin pads and claims that Defour will don them under his socks for tonight's match against Premier League opposition.
