England win bronze at the Netball World Cup after defeating Jamaica by a 66-44 scoreline.

England have won the bronze medal at the Netball World Cup after defeating Jamaica 66-44 in Sydney.

Jamaica took a 16-11 lead into the second quarter, but England had a 28-23 lead by half time.

England increased their advantage in both periods of the second half, and scored nine of the last 10 goals to secure a a comfortable victory.

Joanne Harten scored 52 goals from 59 attempts while Pamela Cookey added 14 from 18.
