Bowls bronze for England in men's pairs

England's Andrew Knapper and Sam Tolchard have won Commonwealth Games bronze in the men's lawn bowls pairs by beating Namibia in the third-place playoff.

The African nation won more ends, but Knapper and Tolchard picked up four shots at ends six and 12 to help them on their way to a 19-12 victory in Glasgow.

England's triumph denied Namibia their first ever bowls medal at a Commonwealth Games.

Scotland's duo of Alex Marshall and Paul Foster earlier won gold by thrashing Malaysia 20-3.
